Cherry Blossoms
Mom and Dad came up for the weekend for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Sadly, it was freezing and we even got snow on Saturday night. We still had a blast at the festival, walking around the blossoms and of course, eating the entire weekend. Mom and Dad especially enjoyed DC Cupcakes.

Baltimore
Spent a weekend a while back up in Baltimore with some friends who live there. What a great place. Also, a little scary, but had a great time!!
They took me out for brunch to a place called Paper Moon. I don't even know how to describe it. Food was good, and decor was definitely unique. I even tried a bacon milkshake. Wasn't terrible, but probably wouldn't get it again.

Then we went and walked around Fort McHenry.

And just explored Baltimore (and maybe found a snack or two).

So much FOOD!!
I can not believe how much food I ate this weekend. I imagine that Heaven will be just like this... only I won't have to work out twice on Monday to make up for it. Saturday I took the first session of a two session Truffle Class. Ah...chocolate, is there anything better. This weekend we did basic truffles with dark chocolate, five spice and frangelico fillings. Rolled in cocoa, walnuts and toasted coconut.

After class, I went home and made Nutella Carmel Corn for a game night with friends on Saturday night. Basically just a standard carmel corn recipe, but with less brown sugar and add nutella. It was actually very similar to Moose Munch. Sunday brought brunch with friends where I made apple and smoked gouda pastry puffs and then Superbowl Party with buffalo chicken dip. I did a terrible job of not taking pictures, but plan to do better in the future!
