Billy Goat Trail

Went hiking this weekend to Great Falls. It was really beautiful, but the best part was the rock scramble! For a huge portion of the trail there is only giant boulders where you have to jump/scramble/try not to fall and break a leg.

There's David down there somewhere.

Success!

Now this is hiking!

There used to be a bridge. We saw the remains of it. But this way works too, right?

  1. Your blog is broken. Your text in this post is all about hiking and how much fun you had, but the pictures are of terrain that's clearly impassable. When you get a chance to fix the pictures to show something a little more hikeable (spell check is flagging that word as incorrect, but I like it) let me know and I'll re-read this post.

Until then, I noticed in your profile that The Romanov Prophecy is one of your favorite books... I hadn't heard of it before but had read The Charlemagne Pursuit, also by Steve Berry, but didn't care for it too much. Did you read The Charlemagne Pursuit? If so, what did you think... we usually like a lot of the same books, so I'm wondering if I should give The Romanov Prophecy a shot sometime.

P.S. I dig the new blog design. Very cool.

  3. I remember "hiking" around there. We just walked around on the dirt trails, I remember even just a few feet off the dirt trail was so rocky, that we had to get back on the trail. You are crazy!

  4. GORGEOUS place! It belongs in California...just found your blog - I won't take it personally that you didn't invite me to view it. Just want you to know that I am not above "blog stalking" & you can't hide from your favorite Aunt Jenny - she WILL find you. (Love you...)

  5. Eureka - I found it! Our next great adventure that is. Cycling across Denmark. This will take a LONG time of training - at least on my part, but I think we should do it. We have ancestors from Denmark... we would need to do alot of research before we go. What do you think?
